Service Extras:
- * Note on Lubrication: During the deep internal inspection, Sony’s ultra-high-spec, clear factory-fitted fluorine tracking lubricant was verified as 100% immaculate, free of contamination, and perfectly viscous [context]. To preserve this elite molecular barrier, we intentionally left the factory-grooved rail reservoir intact [context] and meticulously applied a precision micro-wipe of premium, plastic-safe Molykote EM-30L grease to restore friction-free tracking.
- ** Note for Audiophiles: Per original Sony/Philips format copy-protection standards, high-resolution SACD discs bypass digital output ports and only output directly via the premium internal DAC to the analogue RCA jacks.
- MAINS PLUG NOTE FOR THE BUYER:
This premium Sony player currently retains its original, lightweight factory-molded UK overplug assembly. While it functions perfectly, these factory shells are flimsy compared to the high quality of the player itself! - *NEW* FREE COMPLIMENTARY UPGRADE
If you purchase this unit, can happily snip off the factory ‘plug’ and professionally wire on a brand-new, heavy-duty UK 3-pin plug (pre-fused with a safe, correct 3A rating for most hi-fi units) completely free of charge before dispatching it to you. Just drop us a message at checkout to let us know if you prefer a Black or White heavy-duty plug!
