Additional Information: IRemoved from an external HDD case, which was a battle!, and a couple sligt marks now on black sides by me!
Testing: Disk has been wiped securely, reformatted and passed the Crystal Disk Finco check with a pass. Also only 120 hours use.

However, it is considered louder and more audible than many modern or lower-RPM drives as it spins at 7,200 RPM across a dense 5-platter design. While idle noise is minimal, head-seeking during intensive tasks creates a noticeable purring or scratching sound. Note that the drive is inaudible inside a standard PC with active case fans, but it can be heard in a near-silent setup.
